Rae Lynn Shropshire

Rae Lynn Shropshire, Aviation Coordinator, has been associated with the program since November 1990, when the program was in its first year of operation and has been in the coordinator position since 1997, where she continues to work with student advisement, marketing, and program recruitment. In late 1999, she successfully proposed the PACE program to Mesa Air Group. To date, Rae Lynn has personally seen approximately 1700 students graduate from our programs!

John Robinson

John started his training at Mesa Pilot Development in August of 2000. He had zero flight time when he started the Primary Program and graduated in May of 2002. He flew for Mesa in December of 2002 in the right seat of the CRJ 700. In November of 2003, he began teaching in the Jet FTD at Farmington. In 2006 after three years of flying the CRJ 200, 700, and 900, he took the opportunity to come back to Mesa Pilot Development as a ground instructor and Jet FTD Coordinator.

Erik Aas

Erik obtained his flight instructor license in 1998 through Durango Air Service in Durango, Colorado and has also worked as a flight instructor for Bode Aviation and Mesa Pilot Development. He has over 2725 hours of dual given flight time.

Andrea Fear

Andrea Fear has been involved with the MPD program since 2002. With a Bachelors Degree from New Mexico State University and with an array of experiences with the college setting, she has an excellent insight into the needs of the students in our program. As the administrative assistant, she has had the opportunity to meet some of the best people in the world through the program. She often can be found recruiting at air shows and fly ins. “I am blessed to be part of a program that has such tangible results and to see so many dreams met.”

Rod Beck
Rod grew up in California, graduated from U. of Colorado and was a member of the California Air National Guard. Rod completed his flight training in Colorado, California, and New Mexico. He loves Ice Hockey, Hiking, and Snow boarding. He likes the freedom if flight, go anywhere, anytime and getting anywhere faster than driving.

 

Dispatch
Bridget Sanders

Bridget has worked for colleges such as Cornell and San Juan College before moving up to the Mesa Pilot Development as the Head Dispatcher. She says she "Loves working with the students in obtaining their goals."

 

 

Maintenance
Bart Sisson

Bart Sisson is our Chief of Maintenance for Mesa Pilot Development and has been with us since 1997. He received his training with the U.S. Navy on the F-14s for four years as well as working for Mesa's maintenance on the Beech 1900 fleet.



Brandon Lammers

Brandon earned his A&P training Western Nebraska Community College. He has worked for Mesa Pilot Development since 2004.


 

 

Evelyn Bolinger
Evelyn is the 6th in her family and has volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol for 6 yrs. She completed her training in Colorado and her hobbies are painting and reptiles. She loves aviation for the feeling you get when the wheels lift off the ground.

Flight Instructors

Shaun Lehman

Shaun has been with MPD for 21/2 years. He grew up loving airplanes and wanting to fly. Shaun received his flight training at Peterson AFB and now has 3000 hrs and over 2000 in instruction. Shaun loves hiking and scale modeling. He says he loves aircraft in general and the feeling of flying. As well, he takes pride in his flying and tries to make every landing perfect.

Kyle Kammie

Emily Bee

Emily started flying in 2001. Since then she has received her Commercial Multi and CFI and CFII all in Colorado. As a Colorado native, she love snow boarding. She loves aviation because of where the office is, the challenge of it, and not everyone can do it.
