Frequently Asked QuestionsI would like to speak with someone who is enrolled in the program or who has graduated from the program and is a working pilot.

The flight cost
(instructors, sims, and airplanes) for the PRIMARY program is approximately
$55,000 BUT you have to factor the cost of living for the year and a half
that you will be here in Farmington. Our financial Aid office on campus
(www.sanjuancollege.edu/pages/129.asp) can help you with
the budget and how to plan. Generally speaking, the financial aid office
adds about $1000/month for living expenses to an aviation student's need.
That would bring the total budget to approximately $80,000 because Primary
students are in a 4 semester program. The flight cost for PACE students will depend on whether the student has a multi-engine certificate. The cost for the program will average about $17,000 - if you earn your multi-engine certificate here, you will have slightly higher costs. The financial aid office uses the same cost of living estimate per month for PACE students.
Please call us when you have any questions. We welcome the opportunity to tell you about our programs and how your own background or experience might fit in. |
